As the owner of Northern Waves, on site bridal services I also co-own a salon in Traverse City called MI Salon (my salon). This is where I provide cuts, colors, facial hair threading, hair extensions…and pretty much anything else that pertains to hair. I started Northern Waves because of my many years of experience working in a high end salon in downtown Traverse City where on a normal Saturday anything less than 5 wedding parties was considered a “slow day”. I decided to branch off on my own so I can spread my love of hair and people.
So, what do I have to offer? I have 17 years experience in this industry. I absolutely can say that I love my job and could never see myself retiring. I keep up to date with wedding trends while keeping knowledgeable on vintage flare. I have been trained by some of the leading names from coast to coast in all areas of hair. I am now able to offer my services at an affordable cost and convenient location, especially for your wedding day!
